This explains what happens to your details when you use this website. In short: we use them to quote and carry out your work, we do not sell them, and you can ask us to delete them.
Who we are
Evolv Electrical Solutions Limited, a company registered in Northern Ireland (number NI620759), is the data controller. Our registered office is 2 Beechill Business Park, Beechill Road, Belfast BT8 7QN, and our workshop is Unit A112, Portview Trade Centre, East Belfast.

What we collect, and why
When you send the quote form we collect:
- your name and phone number, so we can call you back
- your email address, if you give one (it is optional)
- what the job is: the sector, service, property or premises size, and whether it is urgent
- the price range the form showed you, so we quote consistently
- the date and time, and the IP address the enquiry came from, kept in our security log
We use this to answer your enquiry, quote the work, carry it out and keep the records a business is expected to keep. The legal basis is that you asked us to take steps before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the business. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.
If you accept measurement in the cookie banner, we also record which advert or search brought you to the site so we know where our enquiries come from. The legal basis for that is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time below.

Who else sees your details
Only the people at Evolv who deal with your job, and the companies that run the systems we use: our website and database hosting, our email delivery service, and Microsoft 365 for our mailbox. They process your details on our instructions and cannot use them for anything else.
Some of those providers operate outside the UK. Where your details are transferred, it is done under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted. Where we carried out work, the paperwork behind it, such as certificates and invoices, is kept for as long as the law and our insurers require, which is longer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, including with the button above. Write to enquiries@evolv-electrical.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
